Do you have to put a Misdemeaner on your Job Application?

I have a misdemeaner and i was wondering if i had to put it on my job application since it is a lesser crime?

  1. Only if they ask.


  2. You need to put you inability to spell misdemeanor on your job application.

  3. It doesn't matter. I think you still have to if they ask about past crimes. If they don't then consider yourself lucky.

  4. It depends what the question is on the application. If they only ask for felonies, then no you don;t have to tell them.  

  5. If you don't answer the question truthfully and your employer finds out later, there is a good chance that you will be terminated.  If they don't ask about a misdemeanor, then you don't need to tell them.

  6. Usually not. Most employers are only interested if you are a convicted Felon.
