Do you have to shower in front of everyone in the military?

i want to join the army and curious,

yes. . . . . must be hard if you're a g*y man to endure such an experience. but man. if i was a woman, and a L*****n. I'd put up with even the worst Marine DI just to have that experience once a day. . . . . and, let the thumbs down flood in.

Yes its a public shower. Get in, get out, and be clean.

Don't be surprised if someone asks for a shower curtain, and get smoked. There's always that one person in the group lol.... ;)

Yes.  But throughout boot camp, you'll be so d**n tired and dirty that you won't care.

We did have communal showers in Air Force basic and my son says they have them at Parris Island.  But don't worry, you don't have enough time to be worried about it at either place.  Once you leave basic or boot camp, you should have single showers in the dorms.

I don't know about the other branches, but my AF recruiter said that there are poles that come from the ground and is rounded with shower heads, and they are so close to each other that people usually rub elbows, so yes you have to shower naked in front of people, and my recruiter jokingly said it's tons of fun.
