Do you have to slit your wrists to be emo?

Now everyone calls me emo. And they call me a wrist slitter. But yer, maybe i am emo (with your answer can u define emo?) but i dont slit wrists, and everyone thinks that emos self harm. HELP?!

NO not all emos/goths/scenes cut themselves! ANYONE can cut themselves when they are depressed/bored/sad/angry. but its soooo annoying when people say "ur emo! do u cut urself?" oh umm..define emo...

Emos are people that are usally really fun to hang out with..Some can call themselves emo and they also dont like labeling themselves.
they like making a style.standing out instead of fitting in.Like peircings♥

kid emos are (awesome) people who listen to emo music and have amazing hair and usualy like to wear skinny jeans, red skinny's ftw. Look im an emo i dont give a c**p if random chavs dont like me f**k em but i dont slit i find no need to slit. if you dont want to do something dont, dont let people tell you what to do.

An Emo is a kid who likes Emo music a h**l of a lot and has that little fringe going on. You don't have to slice your skin up to fit into a stupid false and dangerous stereotype by any means
