and do you have to eat cheese to clean the palette between tastings? I would think that the only reason to spit is so you don't get drunk. Does each wine taste that different? All of my wine tastes yeasty, but it's only four bucks a gallon for 14% applejack and I can never wait for it to get dry and clean and sharp, but I've tasted good aflvien, or how you say? I just make mine in the jug it comes in so I don't have to worry about sanitizing anything. Are people who are passionate about wine snobs? Or is it just one of the finer things in life to be enjoyed. I don't enjoy my applejack, I just drink it because I can.. pertnear 200 gallons a year and it's legal as sin. I don't see any sense in swishing or rolling or spitting or letting it breath, I just chill it Thursday to let the yeast fall out, and drink it Saturday night, and sunday, and monday.
