  2. Written but I had a computerized test...I don't know if they have that where you live..

  3. written but it is on a computer and is touch screen here in Ohio.  You need to get a percentage right to pass.

    and now all i have to do is go to a driving school to get my 6 hours to get my permit

  12. Written.  The permit only allows you to practice driving with a driving instructor, parent, or someone over a certain age with a license.  They don't expect you to know how to drive.

    After you have practiced long enough to pass the drivers test, you'll take that test to get your license.

In Oklahoma, I was able to get my learner's permit at 15 with a written test and proof of enrollment in drivers ed.  Then, I took the driving test for the license at 16.  When we moved to Texas, I was not yet 18, so I had to take their written test.  However, proof of drivers ed completion got me out of the driving test.
