Do you have to take the SAT IIs if you take the ACT?

Notice that I meant the SAT "IIs"

and no the regular Sats.

  1. In my opinion, it's best to take both. The worst thing that could happen, is you end up doing really bad. Although if you do bad, you don't have to send it to colleges. Take the test, you can do it!


  2. It all depends on where you want to go to school.  Some schools may require one test or the other.  Yet, other schools (especially community colleges) will have their own placement tests that can be used instead OR as a way to try to place higher if your standardized tests didn't go so well.  If you want to keep your options open, study well and take both the SAT & ACT.

  3. It depends on what schools you plan to apply to.  Some only want ACT scores, some only want SAT scores and some want both.  I took both just to be on the safe side.
