How much will it cost to get it? How many weeks do I have to wait to get my driver license in the mail? What do you have to do to get a car once you get a driver's license?

This depends on what state you live in... it varies state to state, some, you can get your DL when you are 15 and others you have to wait longer. most though you can get your DL before 18. price also varies too... here in indiana it costs 9 dollars. and you usually dont receive it in the mail, they issue it to you immediatly. as for a car... that is a little different. that requires a lot of money and a good job to buy a new one, but since you dont have a DL yet I would suggest an older used car. you can try carmax, enterprise or a local dealership to find used cars. make sure to buy one in your price range first and dont forget to factor in car insurance too. hope that helps :D

You have to wait till you're 18 to get a drivers license without having your parents sign for you.

It's cost depends on where you live. California charges $15, I think.

After you pass the tests, they'll give you a temp license good till the other arrives in the mail, usually in a couple of weeks.

In order to get a car, you have to buy one. It's kinda like buying anything else. You go to a car store (usually called a 'dealer'), and buy a car. They make it easy, and will be more than willing to sell you any car they have.

Or you can find a used car in the paper or on line and buy from a private party. Just like buying anything else, but there's paperwork and it probably costs more.
