  1. its supposed to protect your hair from getting damaged. i use tresemme, i havent really looked into other brands, but that one is fairly cheap, like $4 i think. and you're supposed to use it before you use any heat products on your hair. so shower, apply cream, blow dry, then straighten

  2. It will protect your hair from damage and frizz and leave it smoother so yah i would suggest it. A good kind is Nexxus Heat Glide. And the process for this one could be either one as long as you don't put in too much(greasy) than you can apply wet or dry (after shower or blow drying)

But thats only for this brand that i know of

  3. a flat iron thats not from a salon or good quality, ("ones that you can get from a drugstore/walmart) will literally MURDER your hair. however, if you must get one from there, try looking for one that is pure ceramic, not just ceramic coated as this will not cause as much damage, one that has tourmaline, and emits negative ions

  4. The best product to put in your hair for a reasonable price is a black spray bottle with a red top...I think LoReal, maybe..i can't remember...but it's at WalMart and it works really well...and YES you NEED product to help your hair. Or you can use Frizzease.

You apply the product by the directions on the label of the bottle. Most products are applied after the shower before ANY heat damage can occur (blow dryer, straightener, etc). Some you can do wet or dry, some are specifically for towel dried hair. It depends on the product you choose.

The best affordable straightener is any brand as long as it is CERAMIC. This is the best for you hair. It does not damage it as much as other material. Hope this helps!!
