Do you have to wipe a chihuahua's butt after it goes?

cause i want to get a chihuahua but wiping it's butt is kinda gross? help!

Ha ha! That happened to me once. My chihuahua had diarrhea and **** in the middle of a busy street. I started walking and he had c**p all over him. So what did I do? I found a leaf and wiped his ***.

Some long haired dogs, you DO sometimes have to trim the fur back there, and if it gets too long, you do sometimes need to wash it because p**p gets caught in the long fur. But otherwise, nope. They've had thousands of years of evolution to learn how to p**p without needing human help.

Now, if you get pregnant and have a baby... haha.

And it's not any more gross to wipe a dog's bum than it was for your parents to wipe yours!

But no.In most cases the dog doesn't need that kind of assistance.

There might be occasions if your dog has a bout of diarrhea to where you will have to wipe the remaining f***s.

If you honestly cannot handle it, don't get a dog...or have kids.

no but you will need to be a responsible pet owner and that means doing things for your dog that they cannot do for themselves

If it's a long hair Chihuahua you may to or if it has a messy poo other than that no.

where did u hear u had to wipe a dogs but?that is very stupid unless something is visible, such as when he has loose stools or diarrhea.

ive only seen 1 person wipe theyr dogs but after the dog had diarrhea

If he has "cling-ons" then maybe but I suspect you are feeding him cheap dogfood and that will do it every time. If you feed grocery store food, expect what you get.

If you feed quality food an the probelm still exists, have hinm checked out...is he a long or short haired CHI??? Makes a huge difference....if short...see above, if long, take him to a groomer and have to "pooper" area trimmed
