  1. Some states require you to have a sponsor. I would suggest calling some of the career P&C firms, Allstate, State Farm, Liberty Mutual, etc. They are always looking for new agents and office personel. They will be able to tell you the best way to get into the business.

Licensing information for your state will be posted on your states website.

I have worked closely with Allstate and I can tell you they routinely hire people with no expierence to open an office. Thye will even allow you to buy an existing book of business to get you started.

  2. For a P&C license, in most states you can do it yourself.

But the HARD part is finding a company to let you sell their insurance.  With no experience, it's not going to happen.

  3. Just paying & passing will give u certificate of an advisor>but to earn renewal u have 2 get minimum 6 lives

    u can contact me batavia_sagar@yahoo.co.in

  4. what state are you in?  If your in IL email me I'll help you find a job!

  5. The guy, above, is correct.

Give a known company the call.   Call a few others.  Then call an unknown company.

Expect to be wined and dined.   You will soon be 'in demand'.
