we got them as a set though. u can find many here

  2. I got mine as a set also because it looked good and as youll find its hard to find bands to match if you ring has a unique shape together they were about 800.  Good deal. we havent gotten the FHs yet but hes a simple guy and they ones we have looked are aroung 100 dollars although a lot of them were on sale but they were real if you wait for the right time of year you can find great deals!

  3. We looked all over for a wedding band that matched my ring.  Of all places, we found it in Hanoush in the mall!  Not only did it match perfectly, but it had diamonds on the sides as well as the top!  It's gorgeous!  Although it was $2000 - it was a better deal and better match than anything else we saw.

  4. yes we got all three, engagement, and wedding bands at the same time.  We picked them all out together. I thought we were just looking but he went back and bought them all!

total for all three we paid a little over $6000 (lots of dimonds on both of mone!)

  5. I thought I did, but the jeweler explained that it could not be resized, so looking again.  My guy will pick his own out. He wants something 'flashier' than a plain band.  Our budget is $1000 for both rings. Not a penny over.

Tip to those still choosing: the 'channel' rings as well as engraved rings cannot be easily resized.  In some cases, they can't be resized at all.

  6. We got engaged on Valentine's Day and picked out our rings a couple of weeks later. He wanted me to be able to help find something that we both would like. Take your time finding them. We actually found ours at JC Penney's jewelry department. We bought a trio set with the engagement ring, my wedding band and his wedding band all matching. They are yellow gold. The engagement ring has a cluster of diamonds in the center with small chips in a row on each side. Our wedding bands each have a row of larger diamonds on them.  They also have small crosses etched on each end of the row of diamonds.  (God has been in our relationship since the beginning and I wanted to be able to remind myself of that each time I looked at my rings.)

When we were looking at the set, I overheard another saleslady telling a customer that there was a "Billion Dollar Jewelry Sale" coming in two weeks. I told my fiance that I would be willing to wait 2 more weeks in order to save money. I'm so glad we did!  We ended up getting our rings on sale for 50% OFF, plus another 20% OFF that because we each used our Penneys credit card. I paid a  total of $225 for his and he paid about $500 for my set.  So we got a VERY NICE set of rings at a very good price.  When the credit card bills came we were able to pay them off all at once and won't be starting our married life in debt from buying the rings.

  7. Yes. His were less than $100. At his request, I bought him 3 tungsten carbide rings off of Ebay. He loves the cheapest one, which was $7.99 plus shipping. I offered to buy him any ring he wanted and he wanted 3 so he could switch them out. Plus, he likes the fact that they are cheap.

My wedding ring was $1575 plus tax. Platinum with diamonds to match engagement ring.

  8. don't remember how much we paid for ours. Right now they are in the safety deposit box waiting until my aughter is old enough to wear them, then I am having them melted and made into something she wants.

  9. I could decide between two rings, so both will be blessed during our ceremony.

1 is OK to wear by itself, cost $70, and the other is shaped to fit around my engagement ring, cost $200 but I will need it sized so that will cost.

    My fiance's ring was $110.

  10. (Bamaband, those rings are beautiful!)

My husband chose my rings, and they are modest, and SO beautiful! I didn't know til much later what they cost - the engagement ring is a solitaire with shoulder stones, and was just under 800. The wedding band has three of the smaller stones, and was just under 400.

His plain gold wedding band was 350.

  11. Yes.  I had trouble finding one because of the cut of my engagement ring but we got the only one I found, which was about $200.  My fiance's was about $500.

  12. mine was 500 his was 1600. He wanted something with stones so since my engagement ring was 3500, we spent more on him for the wedding rings.

  13. We bought our rings approximately 7 weeks before our wedding. I chose a white gold anniversary band with princess cut diamonds, I think it was around 700 on sale, the diamonds total half a carat in weight. My husband chose a titanium band, I think it was 250 dollars.

  14. We bought my wedding band with the engagement ring--a matched set.  It can be pretty difficult to find one that'll sit flush otherwise.  My band is diamond encrusted, I think it was around $900.

We bought my husband's band a couple months before the wedding.  His was around $350--fairly simple hammered gold band with white and yellow gold.  As long as you stay away from platinum, most men's bands are under $500.  Good luck!
