Answe this honestly.

Do you believe that if you want something bad enough and you dedicate yourself fully that you can do anything?

Or do you think it's bull and everything is based on chance?

  1. I believe having a positive mindset can take you farther. Believing you can do something, and willing to work at it goes a long way. But that doesn't always mean you'll get exactly what you want. You'll just get better, or closer to your goal. There's limits to everything.

  2. i think its bull, hp decides what we are gonna do

  3. Honestly, and truly if you really set your mind to it, you can really excel. For example, I was the worst girl on my track team. Throughout the whole year I worked hard, ran hard, and ate properly and now? I'm top 5! [Not to boast in your face] Trust me, if you really want it kick into gear and GO! If you don't think you can do it yourself, try to talk to your friends or family and ask how they would approach your goal. I bet you they will cheer you at the sidelines to help you all the way. Good luck and have fun, buddy. :)

  4. Yeah...exept for flying...lol

  5. yeah if you try hard enough you could probably be able to do anything but it also depends on what you want to do if you want to be an olympic swimmer for example but your 18 and cant swim it may not happen but if you want to ace a class that's more reasonable good luck it sounds like you have an idea

  6. anything!

    :D

    lol

  7. if it is something reasonable.  notice i didn't say probably or likely.

if it is the least bit reasonable, you can do it.

with hard work, dedication and all that other important stuff, the impossible is possible

    good luck♥

  8. not absolutely anything like pretty much though likee say you wanted to be the emporer of China u couldnt u aint no cinese!

  9. To an extent.

Obviously, not something that you physically can't do like...turn invisible.

But if you put enough effort into something and never give up on it then I think nearly anything is achievable!

  10. I think it's bull, especially if it is something that relies on recognition by others in order to realize (like making it onto the track team). I learned this by life experience. I did everything right. Straight-A student all my life, fencing team, academic team varsity captain, college grad with a double major. Did everything I was ever told prepares you for a long and successful life and where am I now? Unemployed, posting this on a second-hand computer and an unsecured local connection.

If it's not something you can do completely on your own, with no outside help and no hope of recognition or reward from the larger world, don't count on it, no matter how hard you try. On the other hand, if it is something you want to do purely for yourself, go for it. There's no one to tell you you're not good /enough/ if your only goal is to be /good/ (I am, for instance, a damned good fencer).

  11. Yes. For me there is no such thing as impossible. If you work hard, set your sights high and do everything in your power to make something happen it will. The impossible happens everyday. There is nothing you CAN'T do. Keep thinking positively, engage yourself fully in your work and focus on it while doing hours of training and you will succeed. Now granted, there are some things where the scientific or statistic laws are agaist you: such as maybe flying or making the Olympic gymnastics  team after only a year of practice but hey there is nothing that says you can't try. Set little goals for yourself and as you complete your little goals, you're moving up to complete that big goal: whether it be getting the lead in the play or skydiving. Think positively, work your butt of and you'll be there before you know it.
