  1. I always stick to the speed limit and I drive an automatic so you have to keep an eye on the speed because it can get away from you. Speeding tickets are expensive and it's 3 points on your licence and I'm still in my 2 year probationary period. And besides it's safer and causes less accidents!

  2. One of life's little pleasures is sticking rigidly to the speed limit and leaving ample distance from the car in front, forcing traffic behind to slow down.

  3. yeah, i really try to, obviously no one is perfect but I just think that it's easier - you avoid accidents due to inappropriate speed. Plus so many of my friends come close to having heart attacks whenever a police vehicle is behind them, whereas I know that if I'm not speeding/doing anthing illegal I have nothing to worry about!

Too many people speed to excess, the amount of times I've nearly been killed by utter idiots is just rediculous! Slow down people!!!

  4. i tend to go over the limit at times... and when its over then its like really over the limit...  and i know its not a good thing.

  5. More or less, but I take road conditions into account.

  6. Yep, always. Even the middle of no where when i know i'm not going to get caught....

Mainly because i've allready got 3 points on my lisence from speeding and i'n over a year in to my probation period (which is 2 years and if you get 6+ points you lose you lisence).

In my defense, when i got caught, my speedomitor in the car said i was doing 30mph and than i just got this letter through saying i was caught doing 36mph at 2 bloody 30 in the morning and caught by a gun.Grrrr, it was a new car obviously. I found out when i got my Satnav as mines says the speed on. So unfair cos technically i wasn't speeding cos according to my speedomiter.

  7. I keep within 5 mph of the speed limit besides with the gas prices it is better to just do the speed limit.

  8. Yes, in fact just recently i went 15mph in a 30 with a police car behind me with sirens wailing and coppers pulling their hair out in a built up area and would not allow them to pass.

They passed when IT WAS SAFE TO DO SO.

They cant have it both ways.

But by god it felt good.

  9. Yes I do, I don't want to lose my license and have the old bill on my back, do you?

  10. Of course I do Officer :)

  11. I always do.

I can't afford to pay speeding tickets.

  12. No, I always go over the speed limit at least 4 miles or more.

  13. Never on the highway/freeway- but always when driving in residential areas.

  14. Laws are for the guidance of wise men and for the blind obedience of fools. Are you really so wise as to be totally observant and concentrate that well that you can guarantee to be able to avoid  that lump of concrete that fell off that lorry in the road JUST around the next bend?

  15. yes I have to

I drive for a living, I would get the sack if I got points

as a bus driver we have to drive slow and safe

plus buses are not that fast lol

  16. depending were i am driving, i know most of the places cops hang out here to catch speeders, so h**l no do i go the speed limit

  17. yes i do,

I'm a lorry driver, my licence is my life. my vehicle is fitted with a digital tachograph and is satellite tracked from my base.

the law would throw the book at me if i caused or was involved in an accident. and quite rightly so

    speeding is  for TW@S!

  18. NO i dont follow the speed limit, i use my judgement as to if i should ride above the speed limit or below(school areas/  motorways, country lanes)

  19. Not normally, getting better though. I found its the cars I had, they go 0-60 so fast that its hard to keep them 30mph. I now have a van and I simply cant speed which I belive is a good thing. Ive had warnings and speeding fines / points but I dont seem to learn.

  20. Of course i do, eerrrrr well sometimes now an then.

  21. not really i usually tend to go over the speed limit.. its a bad habit of mine.

  22. No, not always. Sometimes I will drive 5 over the speed limit. On some roads you have to drive faster than the speed limit or you will get run over.

  23. not unless there is a cop pointing a radar gun at me...

    I ALWAYS speed...

  24. In a built up area or where kids and pedestrians are about I probably do, or slower, otherwise I keep roughly within it most of the time. I used to drive fast but at the end of the journey you really don't save much time, I've timed it a number of times.

  25. sometimes. It depends on where I am headed and how important it is. Other factors like how late I am running and if cops are watching or not affects my decision.

  26. I try to but sometimes it is difficult holding up traffic so as someone already said go with the flow!

  27. im trying to stick to all speed limits coz i just passed my test a couple of months ago :S

  28. do i bollox, the speed limit is a waste of time, i beleive there should be different lanes for different levels of drivers and get all the stupid basturds that cant drive out of the way. lets face it the only reason we have a speed limit is because a guy was driving the m1 in a ac cobra when they first came out at 150mph and a copper couldn keep up so they inforced a speed limit

  29. i go with flow...i drove from Florida to Virginia...the traffic in Georgia and Fla was going  80 most of the way...wow

  30. I have never broken the speed limit in my life.(Maybe the sound barrier, but never the speed limit.) I have never looked at an attractive girl since I got married,(except my wife), I never drink alcohol, and I have never told a lie , ever.

  31. no! cops pull you over rite at 7-10mph over the speed limit so i go 5mph over and Win i feel Riley good i max my car out every time oh ya i have a radar detector and radar scrambler in my car.
