the conservative who said parents on benefits should be sterilised after having 2 kids?

I just read about a 30 year old mom of 7 expecting her 8th, and while she and her partner are both on benefits they are thrilled to have another baby. Only one of the other 7 is his, the others share 2 other fathers.

If I were a UK taxpayer i'd be so fooking angry to see that.

  1. we should be like japan and told the limit of children we have, i work and so does my husband.. we have one child and would of loved another but simply cannot afford to what with childminders nursery fees after school care. The government help but it simply is not enough. I think its would be easier to wrap our jobs in so we can hav another baby..

  2. Yes the n**i's and the Chinese fully support that Councillor as they did that themselves

  3. These people live off benefits from children. After 2-3 they should

only get vouchers to cover food and clothes.

  4. Nobody has the right to have children that they themselves cannot afford to keep without recourse to benefits...and that guy should not have resigned, because he has only stated what a great deal of the people in this country are feeling.

  5. if you stop the money are you creating poverty ? although i think what they are doing is abusing the system . why does the man of the house not get a job to be a provider as is his role , even if all the kids aren't  his they are all brothers and sisters ? if you have a job to provide for your family does it not create structure and set an example to your children ? if the 2 other fathers are paying maintenance surely her or her partner should be out working instead of letting others provide for all the children.

  6. if you have children , you should pay for their keep.pay for their clothes and generally take responsibility for them. that should apply if you have 1 child or 10 .

  7. its got to be hard on the kids how can a mum look after all those children i come from a family of 9 and my mum had no time for us

  8. Why on earth does anyone think they have the right to stop people on benefits having kids!

i have never been on benefits, and have always paid tax, but as a tax payer that does not give me or YOU the right to tell other people how many kids they can have! We don't live in a communist country! People like you would probably be better off moving to china! Where people don't have a choice! Just because you find it tough with two kids! Perhaps you are a working mum too, who dumps their kids in a nursery all day!

Yes, thought so, I just checked your edit! You have a nerve! Just becausem you dump your kids in a nursery, that makes my blood boil, at least these people look after their kids!  They may be on benefits, but at least they haven't dumped them on someone else when they work!

  9. Yes I do, she is just one of thousands of illiterate chavs who have children and expect the taxpayer to feed clothe and house them. If they can not afford to raise there offspring the children should be taken off them and given to couples who will bring the children up without the aid of the state

  10. I dont know about 2 .......... but seriously once youve had 4, youre on thin ice when it comes to any kind of extra benefits ........... there is no need for it.

  11. No don't agree with sterilization but do feel that there should be a maximum threshold of Child Benefit/Child Tax Credit - say for 3 children. If people then decide to have more it is their choice - their benefits wouldn't increase. That may get them thinking. Responsible parents - and citizens - have the number of children they can afford to have.

  12. No way!

It's a free country and we are all entitled to have as many children as we wish. I think it would become an issue if she kept on having kids, but couldn't look after them properly, but I think sterilisation is just uncalled for. Who the h**l has the right to do that? We are all equal so our wishes and beliefs should be respected.

Maybe she s on benefits because she hasn't the time to work, what with being pregnant and having 7 kids and all that. He could work if he wanted, but we don't know their full situation. Leave them be and live your own life instead of judging others

  13. Yes I do agree, if they wont take responsibility to work and pay for their offspring then why should us taxpayers foot the bill. I have been working since leaving school and have 2 grown-up children, I didn't sponge offf everyone else and yes I had plenty of hard times. These lazy people make me sick!!!

  14. ITS A DISGRACE...THEY DO NOT WORK NOR DO THEY CARE WHO IS GOING TO FEED THESE CHILDREN....ONLY THE TAXPAYER...SO TO THEM IT DOES NOT MATTER. THEY ARE WORSE THAN RABBITS, AND SHOULD HAVE A CURB LAID DOWN BY THE GOVERNMENT THAT ANYONE NOT WORKING ..OR NEVER WORKED SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO ANY BENEFITS, AFTER THREE.PLUS THE FACT THEY SHOULD STERILISE BOTH OF THEM.

  15. well yeah,, i see where you are comin from, however u gotta look at the whole picture in order to identify who is wrong here....

is it the mum that thinks this life she is leading is normal?..or is it the parent s that brought her up 2 think that way coz thats how they were brought up? ..

    or

is it the government parties who, over the years, have created a society where "work hard and go places" has been obliterated from everyday life??..............

whilst we are angry at these people we must start to recognise that bad leadership has created this situation  and even though solving the problem by "educating society" would take longer than the instant but temporary and  not to mention ultra expensive action of sterilising people "on benefits"  i feel it would be the long term strategy that would win in the end. not all people on benefits are there through choice so the analysis process for sterilisation would be just about  impossible!!
