after washing, of course. I know some people do and I just want to know their purpose. Is it a habit, a disorder or what?

    to each their own though.

  3. no... i dnt... dont kno y people would o that.. maybe some people find that it feels comfortable... others may do it b/c they feel they need to... perhaps perfectionists

  4. well first of all u wear it under neath ur cloths and it doesnt really get wrinkled bad and i dont feel any difference.

  5. I don't iron all my underwear - just my G-Strings

  6. hahahahaha?

are you looking for people who do?

so much for the electric bills....

  7. No way, no need to. My undies form fit me. What would be the point in it?

  8. i dont know anyone who irons they're undies. it's either OCD or your wear tight, tight pants you can see the wrinkles through. I don't even iron my regular clothes...or fold my unders.

  9. it makes them more comfortable

  10. remember the good old days before washer/dyer. our folks used to dry in clotheslines - sampayan - under heat of sun. this made cotton underwear hard - like toasted. so they iron (after water sprinking) to make it softer and to further remove germs coz iron is hot. heat kills germs.

    no i don't iron mine.

  11. as much as i would like to, i can't.   my mother-in-law regularly uses gawgaw or almirol to my underwears.  sigh... imagine how my undie can stand on its own...

  12. Only if the wrinkles on my n*****k will be ironed out too.

  13. h**l no! I wear Boxer Briefs and the only one who is going to see them is my Wife. Besides, They don't wrinkle much at all.

It must be some sort of disorder...

  14. it does no harm if one would make sure their undies are ironed to disinfect it, some people, esp women, are more susceptible to UTI (urinary tract infections) that it is needed.

  15. Who wears underwear anymore!?!?!

Honestly, I thought that was some old hollywood gag about anal retentive people ironing undies. I have never met anyone that admitted to it...and if I do meet them, yes: I will certainly think less of them.

  16. I think the reason behind the "irony" is that some people are clean freaks. They thought some bacteria/virus had smeared on their undies during washing procedure particularly during when it was hang to dry. They believed that the heat of the iron can kill the bacteria/virus smeared on the undies.

  17. I can't iron lace, nylon, lycra, and spandex.

Those materials are wrinkle free anyway and who cares if they're wrinkled.

  18. yes I do. it's part of making everything clean, meaning free of unwanted germs that might still be lurking around. sometimes, the drier and the sun aren't enough to kill them.

and come to think of it, undies are used for the delicate parts of our bodies.

  19. No.  I don't even iron my outerwear.  That is why permanent press was invented.

  20. no, not me.  someone does it for me.

  21. 7 years ago, i was in cebu, i saw the girl in the next room ironing her undies.

if you would like to know, NO way did i peak, the door was just open.

  22. i don't iron my anything.

  23. No I don't because I'm a meticulous person when it comes about my personal things like clothes especially some delicate of these fabrics like silk etc.

  24. Old people do because they think it's important.

  25. "Disorder" hahaha

    You just made my day

No, I don't iron my underwear.  I don't iron anything unless I absolutely have to

  26. I do iron it. Not my underpant but my boyfriend's underpant. It's a habit of mine..even a lil bit of piece i do iron it.

  27. Nope I don't iron mine. I guess it could be a habit if they just like to iron it all the time. Or a disorder if they feel the underwear must not be wrinkly

  28. Yes, Kabayan.

If I still had my iron and ironing board.  Last time I went for vacation, I had them shipped thinking this was my last stint in Riyadh.

And then, they pushed me back on the plane again.

Anyway, I do that as a sort of psychological cleanser.   We both know the sunlight in Riyadh is sufficient to kill all the germs on the garments left out to dry.   But this does not reassure me, considering the near Alien life form tenacity of the bedbugs in my room.

  29. No, I don't unless I want my underwear to stretch to allow 2 persons to wear it at the same instant. lol
