Say if I wanted to name myself the 6th generation of my grandfather. Would you just keep saying Great-great-great-great great-great granddaughter? Is there no other intelligent way to say it? lol Thanks for answers in advance

  1. Yep.

  2. Most of us say or write  "Second", "Third", etc. So, if someone has four "greats" (be the grand father, grand mother, grand daughter or grand son) you would say "Fourth great {relation}.

  3. No, you can say that you are the 5x or  6x grand-daughter,

or he is your 5x great-grandfather.

  4. I just use things like 6th great-granddaughter; 14th great-grandfather, etc. Saves writing out all those "greats" or repeating  "g's" in front of grandparent.  =D
