"What I've Given, What I've Gained" - acrostic nonet & unlucky

Sweet cinnamon stains air around me,

alone tonight with just your voice

captivating me with song,

ripping my heart in two.

I feel you near me;

feeling's a lie.

I know you

craft, your

edge.

Find

only me

reaching out to you.

Life has betrayed us both and

opened doors that we can never close.

Vengeance, dear, can be exorcised in romance.

Even now I am alone with you, vindicated.
