  1. If you use the cheap ketchup like me, then best keep it in the fridge, try putting in hot chili sauce

  2. in the fridge

  3. fridge after its open, thought  it was only old people who kept in cupboard

  4. fridge, lukewarm ketchup is yuck!

  5. In my cool, dark PANTRY ... although my daughter always keeps hers in the refrigerator

  6. im afraid i speak as a trained chef, who has had to study micro-biology regarding bactiria in food you want to keep any opened sauce in the fridge. if still sealed the cubbord is fine as its sealed with sterile air in it from the factory- but one open it has random bacteria filled air from your kitchen, remeber you bin in in there!! so any thing after opening- into the fridge it goes

  7. Fridge, every time, since I kept it in the cupboard and it went severely off!

  8. cupboard as long as it's unopened.

    fridge once you open it.

  9. Cupboard! But i recently moved in with my boyfriend and he insists it should live in the fridge..weird..that just makes ur food cold!

  10. I keep it in the fridge, but i get it out while i am cooking tea and leave it to get to room temperature before eating it, as (i know this sounds weird) but i dont like cold ketchup.

  11. Both.....

I used to only keep it in the Fridge, 'till my Mother in law stated it didn't say on the bottle to refrigerate after opening.  I still prefer it cold, but if I leave it out all day, I don't have to worry.

  12. Definitely in the fridge.  It tastes better cold and says, "for best results refrigerate after opening," right on the label.

  13. Fridge. It makes me feel sick out of a cupboard all luke wam. Ewww

Where do you keep it? xxxx

  14. Fridge once opened

  15. I keep it in the fridge cos it says to do so on the bottle. My Gran and Mum both keep it in the cupboard and recon that the refrigerate statement is a recent addition, "we never used to in our day"..... Still neither one of the seems to have suffered any ill effects so perhaps they're right.

  16. Fridge.

  17. Ketchup needs to be kept in the fridge once it is opened and consumed within 6 weeks of opening. Now they have taken all the artificial preservatives that used to be in them out, it is best to refrigerate.

I keep mine in the fridge, even if it is unopened (but that is due to lack of space in my cupboard!). However, I have a constant battle with my mum and mother in law about keeping opened ketchup in a cupboard - they have always kept it in a cupboard since the time the preservatives were in it. Room temp ketchup is also horrid!

  18. Cupboard, freezing ketchup, YUCK. And that's rubbish about it exploding if you don't keep it in the fridge, I've always kept mine in the cupboard & not once has it ever exploded.

  19. In the Fridge is better cause I think the taste wouldn't change so fast!

  20. The fridge, would it not keep better?...........LOL Edzi..I make you right.

  21. It should be kept in the fridge once opened & in the cupboard otherwise..

  22. Cupboard!!  Nothing like ice cold ketchup to cool down my sizzling hot fries!!  Ewwwwwwww!!

We go through a lot of ketchup here so I am not too worried about it expiring (Edit-or exploding!!-=snort=-)   or going bad.  Plus believe it or not, ketchup is good for dogs.  It helps the grass from not being burned by their wee!  I kid you not!  SO our dog gets either a dollop of ketchup or some tomatoes on her food once in a blue.

    x*x

  23. wen its not opened in the cabinet, after opened put it in the fridge:)

  24. Fridge

  25. fridge, if you dont it might explode and thats no exaggeration, its been in the papers

  26. Either.
