  1. I keep the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and Pearl of Great price and I wear garments that remind me of the covenants I have made.

  2. Keeping Halecha is a comprehensive way of life, filled with rules and practices that affect every aspect of life.  (Keeping Torah).  Of course I do.

Only men wear their Tallit (prayer shawls) when davening, not women.

  3. Jesus kept the Torah for me so now I just have to follow him to the promised land, he said he is the way.

  4. its included in my Bible...

    prayers requested...im fighting a nasty infection....thanks

  5. I try to keep the Torah and I wear a prayer shawl every day.

    Why do you ask?

  6. No, I'm a Jew and take pride that I have broken just about all the bloody 613 mitzvot, but then the word "devout" is hardly a one most people would use in describing me, an almost pure secularist. I ignore the Torah as the product of Dr. Demento or his like and find prayer shawls do not match well with my Armani suits.

I occasionally attend Shul where I at least don a Yarmulke to avoid unnecessary attention, but since I'm as black as the Ace of Spades, it's kinda hard not to stand out in the crowd. I'm from Ethiopia [Yes, there are Jews in Ethiopia, didn't you know?] and almost seven feet tall so it's rather hard.  I've picked up quite a lot of Yiddish from the Ashkenazim.

    Oy Gevalt!

I find Judaism to be considerably less repugnant than a totally retarded religion like Christianity, but still repugnant nevertheless.

I've as much use for God the "Law" as getting smitten with hemorrhoids or having a root-canal done without anesthetic.

If I were stupid enough to adopt a religious faith and practice it, it'd be Sikhism, since they have cool turbans and get to wear a sword!

Now that's better than Yarmulke and Tallit

  7. I try. No, I'm a girl.

  8. No
