Do you knoe how to cook Bock Choy?

I got carried away and bought too much of different vegetables from Chinees store. Now, How do I cook Bock choy in Korean style or chinees style.?

  1. Grill it.  Brush it down with some peanut oil and throw it on the grill till it's worm with just a little bit of charing.  You can add a sauce if you like, or you can add some sauted ginger and garlic for a little taste after it's all grilled.


  2. Bok choy can be cooked using just about any cabbage or kale recipe. It's good stir fried, boiled, sauted, or just raw, and combines nicely with all sorts of meats and vegetables. My wife likes to use it instead of cabbage in making a classical stuffed cabbage recipe.

  3. Bok Choy is one of those veggies that can be boiled, steamed, eaten raw, grilled, baked, bbqed, and stir fry.

    I like to take off the tough stem parts and shred it up and put it into a chinese salad along with my shredded carrots, green onions, cashews, chicken, sesame seeds and make my own vinegrette.

    I like it stir fried with shrimp

    I like to also boil it with potatoes, chicken b*****s.

    The recipes are endless and I think you should just have fun with it.  

  4. I usually use bock choy raw in salads or eat it like celery with cheese or tofu on it!  It isn't usually cooked but you can use it in chop suey!  Or in an Omelette!

  6. I call this one "Bai Chai Pancake"

    Easy to prepare. Saves time and energy.

    Ingredients

      1 Bok Choy

      Batter

         1 cup of flour

         1/2 cup of water

         1 clove of garlic finely chopped

         1/2 onion finely chopped

         salt

         pepper

         spring onions(optional)

      Sauce

         1 cup water

         1 teaspoon flour or cornstarch

         1 1/2 spoon of soy sauce

         1 spoon of brown sugar

         1 cloves garlic chopped

         1 teaspoon unsweetened Peanut butter(optional, Imperial Chinese                  

          don't use peanut)

    Procedure

    1. Mix all batter ingredients in a bowl.

    2. Get one leaf of  Bok Choi and roll a glass over the leaf to make it

        flat. Do it with other leaves of Bok Choy.

    3. After this, Dip the Flat leaves in the Mixed Batter and they are ready    

        for deep frying or pan frying.

    4. For the Sauce, Dissolve the flour in water and put it in a pan and put    

        all the ingredients in the sauce. Simmer it until it is thick enough.

    5. Serve it in the plate. You can put some Fried Tofu Cube for side dish.
