I've never been there but I was said it's really beautiful, beutiful beaches, beautiful landscape, great cooking, great wines, warm people and warm weather.

Hi! I'm from Calabria... I live in Catanzaro!!!

What do I think of my region??? Well is beutiful we have a great sea and awesome mountains too; here you can swim and ski taking the car for only 1 hour!... but you can find out all these things just surfing internet or asking anyone...

Well I can say you that words and pictures don't give a realistic idea of our nature here... I suggest you, this summer, to do a trip in Italy; start from the top of our country, visit city like Venice, Milan, Florence, Rome, Caserta and others and then arrive here to take a week or more relaxing on the beach!

An advice: If you'll come here this summer find a "caletta" and stay there for really enjoy your time!!!

A "caletta" is a little beach naturally delimitated by cliff... is really nice stay there with your friends! It's like a private beach

I went to Tropea in September. I loved it. The sea is an amazing blue colour. Food is cheap but so fresh and tasty.  I would tell the world to go their but I don't want it to become touristy.

You will have to speak Italian, which is great as you get to  practise  the lingo.
