Call your trash provider.  Most times they will pick it up for a nominal fee or even free.  We called ours (Waste Management) and they told us that as long as the carpet rolls were cut down to 4 feet (I think) and didn't weigh too much (It was a few years ago.. I can't remember the weight), they would pick up several rolls at a time.  We had to cut them down and duct tape around them.  It didn't cost us a dime.
