Do you know TYLER possibly from GALVESTON TEXAS who is probably aged late 80's?

TYLER was AFRO AMERICAN and came to SYDNEY AUSTRALIA with the US ARMY. He met a lady named VERA WILLIAMS and she got pregnant to him and had a daughter LARAINE born 10th JANUARY 1945 in SYDNEY. Am not 100% certain if TYLER was his first or surname but that is what VERA called him. If anybody has any information both in AUSTRALIA or AMERICA we would be so very happy. email pslusarc@bigpond.net.au
