Do you know Wakefield?

Question

I'll go to Wakefield UK . If you know much about it,ls , give me some information . It will be good , if u tell me much about the Wakefield College.

I know the City very well.

Unfortunately,I have no knowledge of Wakefield College.

I do know that not unlike most West Yorkshire towns,it is infested with Asian immigrants.

The only two good things i can say about wakie is that 1)Your not far from Leeds on the train, and 2) The lap dancing club used to be half price on a tuesday/wednesday.

With regards to "Privates" answer. Get a life man-"Infested"?

I don't know much about Wakefield. I did some work there back in the 80s.

The night life is excellent,it is a few years since i was last there,the people are very friendly ,you will only get trouble if you make it  happen.knowing where to go and when is the key.Good luck.

I live in Wakefield and have good knowledge of it. It is a city but it is more like a town because it is a bit small for a city. It is split up into 2 sections mainly. Wakefield westgate, and Wakefield Kirkgate. Westgate is better because there are lots of nightclubs, pubs, and takeaways for everyone to enjoy + all the shops are in westgate. Kirkgate is a grotty place where all of the low lifes live. The only thing of interest in Kirkgate is a pub called the snooty fox, and the ridings shopping centre. Wakefield has 2 train stations + 1 main bus station. The 2 train stations are called Wakefield Westgate and Wakefield Kirkgate. Westgate is a very busy station and you can travel to Leeds in 20 minutes from westgate and you can also get to sheffield and doncaster in a good 30 minutes. Kirkgate is an old station but it is filthy and it stinks. You can get to leeds, sheffield, and pontefract from Kirkgate station.
