It should be second knife in on the right of you, if there is only 2 knives then use the first one.

It can be done one of two ways.  One is that it is simply served with the fish dish for which it is to be used, and the other is that it should be in the order of use with the other knife or knives set.  Spoons go on the outside of the right side and knives go between the spoons and the plate.  All utencils should be placed in order to be used from outside to inside, so if you had three courses on which you should use a knife, and the fish was the second course, it would be in the middle of the three knives.
