  1. Oh, this is what i always make!

    Chocolate Eclair Cake

You get two packs of instant French Vanilla pudding and mix them with 3 cups of milk. Add a tub of cool whip to it. then, in a 9 by 13 pan, line the bottom with graham crackers. then add half of the pudding mixture to the top of it and spread it out. add another lay of crackers and then use the rest of the pudding for the top layer. then spread a can of chocolate icing on top. (melt it in the mircowave so it is easily spread) then refrigerate and its done

  2. This is a very easy to make dessert. I have not tried it but if u read the reviews its 5 stars looks delicious and takes 55 minutes to make including the baking time. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Death-by-Ch...

you can also look at easy recipes on that site and other desserts. Also to make your parents extra proud remember to clean the kitchen after making the dessert. Hope I helped and good luck!

  3. I am sure they will be proud of you for just trying...

    Try this one....

    BUTTERMILK WAFFLES

1 1/4 cups of sifted cake flour or 1 2/3 cups unbleached flour

    1 1/2 tsp baking powder

    1/2 tsp baking soda

    1/2 teaspoon salt

6 fluid oz eggs or 4 large eggs

    2 cups buttermilk

16 tbsp. or 2 sticks of butter

Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Beat eggs and buttermilk until well mixed. Add to flour mixture and beat lightly with a fork until flour is moistened. Stir in the butter. The batter should be lumpy. Over mixing will produce tough waffles.

Bake until golden brown and serve warm

Or if you think you can be a little more daring, try this one....

    Turkish Delight

    You need:

    4 cups caster sugar

    1 litre water

    1 teaspoon lemon juice

    1 cup cornflour

    1 teaspoon cream of tartar

    11/2 tablespoons rosewater*

    red food-colouring

½ cup chopped, toasted almond kernels, skin on

    1 cup icing sugar mixture

    Method:

Mix caster sugar, 1 ½ cups of water and juice in medium pan. Stir over low heat, without boiling, until sugar dissolves. Brush sugar crystals from side of pan with brush dipped in water. Simmer, uncovered, without stirring, until temperature reaches 116C on candy thermometer (softball) remover from heat.

Meanwhile, in separate medium pan, blend cornflour and cream of tartar with enough of the remaining water to make a smooth paste. Stir in remaining water, whisk constantly over heat until mixture boils and thickens.

Gradually pour hot syrup, in a thin stream, into cornflour mixture, whisking constantly. Simmer gently, uncovered, about 1 hour or until mixture is translucent and pale straw colour. Stir occasionally during cooking.

Stir in rosewater and tint with food colouring. Mix in toasted almonds, if using. Pour and spread into greased deep 19 cm square cake pan, stand, uncovered, 3 hours or overnight.

Cut jelly into squares with an oiled knife. Coat squares in sifted icing sugar mixture.

*You can get rosewater in your local suppermarket!! you should ask at the counter!!

    2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats

    Preparation:

Combine sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil for 1 minute. 6. COOKIES!!!

1 package of cake mix (any flavor...any kind)

    1 egg

    1/4 cup oil

    1/4 cup water

1 cup of anything you like in cookies (chcolate, nuts, oatmeal, dried fruit)

Preheat oven 350 degrees.  Combine ingredients. Drop (depending on cookie size that you want...I did 1 teaspn) into baking sheet 1 inch apart.  Bake for 15 minutes or until bottoms start to be golden brown.  Even though the cookies are still a little doughy...still take them out.  They are still cooking on the cookie sheet or cooling rack.  Enjoy!

  10. this no-bake cheesecake is AWESOME! to make it really easy, you can pour the filling into a pre-made graham cracker or oreo crust that you buy in the store, or you can just pour it into a pan by itself & top with fresh fruit. last time i made it, i made individual mini cheesecakes - just line a muffin tin with paper cupcake liners. hope it helps! :-)

*mix together 2 8-oz packages of softened cream cheese, 1 14-oz can of sweetened condensed milk, 1/4 cup of lemon juice, & 1 teaspoon of vanilla; blend with a fork, whisk, or electrix mixer until smooth. pour into desired container; cover & let set in refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

*note: to make your own crust, just crush up some graham crackers or oreo cookies & mix together with enough melted butter to make it stick together & be kind of crumbly, & press it into the bottom of the pan.
