I think I might need to take my hamster to the vet. It's almost two year old. It's been scartching it self and losing hair round the head area. Does it need vitamins? Or does it need mites medication. I already have a flea control. It's hurting itself I don't know what to do!!!

And how much do they cost for a cheak up?

Check up costs around 50 bucks (i called most areas around California, where I live), but it may cost even more to determine what is causing his symptoms and for medication. Look at your local yellow pages for local vets around your area or search "vet" in the local search in yahoo.
