  4. There's actually quite a few legitimate ways to make extra cash from home. Surveys, home based jobs and home based businesses. yard sales etc.

One is like another poster suggested was taking surveys.

If your looking to make some plain and simple extra cash, (below the average of minimum wage) then survey's would be the way to go. However, survey's are not what you think. They require a lot of time, and you won't make what they claim you will. A couple of my friends did a year test on several different survey sites like Survey Savvy, Harris Poll, Greenfield, Opinion Outpost, Survey Sport, Buzzback, NPD online, Lightspeed Panel, African American, Your2Cents, Project Payday, Inboxdollar, SnapDollars,Send Earnings, Creation, mycoke rewards, E-poll etc. Each did some the same sites and some different sites. Totaling at least 15 - 20 a piece. They're not what people say they are. Yes they are easy to do and you can receive money and prizes, compensating you for your time and effort. So they're not a scam. They're very time consuming though. When you add the time together, It's more time then you think! If you do decide to get into surveying, you better plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day to make close to minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is amount, the calculations of the time involved, and what you got paid in these "higher" paying surveys, still only averages out to minimum wage. It's a psychological thing because the time is spread out on these, so it doesn't seem to be as long as it really is. If you'd like more detailed information on what goes on with survey's here's the rest of the article that was written on this topic

The next step up to legitimate ways to work from home, would be to look into home based jobs.  Telecommute in other words.  You can google the word and home based jobs will pop up.  Now the income with home based jobs is a little better then survey taking.  Most employers pay minimum waged earnings.  After taxes are taken out, your looking at below minimum wage.

Yard sales- well I don't think I need to go into this.  We all know what's involved, a lot of work for preparations.   But you can make extra cash selling your old stuff!

The best way I have found to work from home, is having a home based business.  You have the same income opportunity as a traditional business without all the over head expenses.  Most everything in your home becomes a tax write off.  Things you use daily like your telephone, Internet, cellular phone, electricy, gas, car expenses etc.

There are a lot of different types of businesses that you can run out of your home. I know quite a few people who have Child Daycare Centers, Quite a few who have businesses in the Telecommunications industry and some in others.   I know an article that was written on yahoo that I had seen a while back on this topic.  I recommend you taking a look at it to understand how home based businesses work as well as over half a dozen different industries to look into if you choose to have a home based business.  It will give you a lot of insight.

  5. I JUST found a legitimate work at home job that's not MLM. I was SUPER skeptical about it, but have been working slowly on it for a week now and am starting to see some income. It's not alot, but it's certianly extra! Check this website: http://www.ipcprogram.com/main.php?id=ra...

I am a stay-at-home mom that needs to supplement our income and this is the best way I've found so far. I was doing surveys (and still do some) but this has been the best money-maker for residual income so far.

  6. Hi there,

I've searched countless sites and forums wondering the same thing. There seems to be a fair few website's online for UK or US surfers, allowing possible sources of income such as completing surveys, searching the net, clicking banners, advertising products etc... Alot of them scams, and a few you have to pay for to sign up - and that's a sure sign that you'll never make enough money back to cover even the sign up fee!

Unless you have a very popular website, or product to sell, and thus advertise other's from you're own site, it's going to be quite hard to make alot of money online.

However, one site that works that i've found for a wee bit extra income is:

    MyHomepageFriends -  http://www.myhpf.co.uk/apply001.asp?Frie...

    Accepts worldwide members!

Basically, you sign up, and use the search engine (which is yahoo), and for every search you make, the site makes 5p, and gives you 2p for this.. Now this probably doesn't seem like very much! But if  you're making 50 searches a day, that's a pound a day and then - 30 quid a month! Plus, you get 1p per search of every friend you let know about the site.. So i guess it works like this (if I'm right hehe, been calculating this myself to see how much i'm due this month)

    50 searches a day - £1... Monthly: £30

You refer 10 people who make 50 searches a day (you get 10% i think) - 10p from each member -- another £1 a day...

So that's £30 from yourself, and £30 made from you're referral links -£60 monthly! (great if you have a blog or a small website to advertise from, to get some referrals)... And they will pay you out once you've reached £20! You also get paid 5% for anyone you're friends refer, you can check all the stats online, i've made 64p from my cousin alone so far in a few days hehe!

Works well and pays you by paypal/cheque/credit card (i think maybe bank account transfer too, but definitely paypal!).. It's not a lot, but an opportunity to maybe make an extra £50-£100 a month for doing nothing other than what you probably already do in google - search the web! You can also check your balance at any time so you know how much you've earned and how much you've gained from you're friends earnings!

Check it out, and let me know how you get on :) Msg me if you want any advice about it, i've been a member for a while now : )

  7. Check out this site. It will help. :)

  8. i bet you've probly heard of getting paid for online surveys and how they're scams and stuff.

well. that's what i thought until i tried this website http://cash crate.com/298450 (no spaces)

basically what u do is fill out internet surveys [or test trials and sample products] about consumer products and every time you complete a survey you get credited for a certain amount. as much as 20 cents to 20 dollars. after the end of the month the website mails your check and you recieve it on the 20th of the following month.

this is how i make my gas money and also some extra shopping money

if you want proof of the check from the website, check this out:
