  1. When I was backpacking through Paris, I stayed at a hostel near the Sorbonne. This is basically the University district, and I found a cozy restaurant where I got escargot, filet mignon, and poire helene plus wine for about 20 euros. The food was incredible. I don't recall the name of the restaurant, unfortunately, but seeing as how there is a large student population here, all you have to do is walk around and you will stumble onto something...

  3. in the outskirt or the Eiffel tower its good.DON'T GO TO TOURIST TRAPS

  4. Le Kleber on a street of the same name is phenomenal. The Salade Perigourdine is absolutely fantastic, if you like duck. Probably my best meal in Paris. Le Buisson Ardent was also good if a bit more pricey. There are many great places on Rue Montorgueil, a favorite of mine is Sacher. A very old place , with the most fabulous chocolates. Rocher the size of golf balls!!! And a lovely selection of salads, tarts, and other savory items. Enjoy your self its an incredible city.

  5. You have so many choices! I often pick a restaurant by it's atmosphere. The Marais neighborhood has a lot of great choices. Just walk around a bit and see where your senses lead you. Also, to eat great food at a cheaper price, try restaurants at lunch time where the menus' are less expensive but the food is just as good!
