When she can't lift something(claiming it's too heavy) will call a man to do it for her?

Not meant as an attack to any woman. I work with someone who is like this. But she's always talking c**p about men. Do you know anyone like this?

  1. Yes, I do!!  There is this colleague who is a divorcee and always saying she does not need a man anymore in her now "perfect" life.  However, she will always unintentionally (or intentionally) flirting with men at bars!!  She seems so pathetic and sad!

Sometimes, these women says it to console themselves that they do not need a man BUT deep down inside, it's the opposite.

  2. Well, in theory, she still doesn't "need" the man himself as a person, she just needs the extra strength he has.  If there was an equally strong woman around but no men, then she might call that woman instead to help her.

    EDIT

I agree 100%.  Sounds like that woman has issues that have nothing to do with true feminism.

  3. Well... I answer you sooner. And Yes, I said I don't need a man, but you will never hear me to say any bad about men because I have lot of wonderful boys around me, my brother, my teacher, my friends.

When I need to carry something too heavy, I do on pieces, If is something really heavy, I let the professionasl do, is what boys do too, right???

  4. Of course most men will always be stronger than women, and women will always be the only ones who can give birth.  There is nothing wrong with a woman not needing a man.  But there's a difference also in wanting one...

  5. As long as she pays him for the work what's the problem?

    Just kidding.

  6. The first answer to this question offered a very important perspective.  But i do know women who are hypocritical like that.  I've met a few seemingly strong and independent women who embodied many modern ideals, yet were insistent on having a man take care of them financially.  They didn't care about women liberation, they just wanted to have their cake and eat it too.

  7. No, I don't know anyone like that. Whenever I have stuff to carry, I carry it myself.

  8. Yeah, me!  :-)  If I had a really strong female friend I'd probably call her first, but alas, I don't.

  9. Yeah every woman I have ever met! what does S'A'N'D stand for BTW?

  10. I'd probably remind her she doesn't need a man and she can find a way on her own to move that heavy box.
