Question:

Do you know about the Colliwobbles?

Lour Richards coined the phrase of "Colliwobbles" when referring to the habit the Magpies have of wobbling and faltering in the finals. We still do it. When the crunch comes in big matches we get the wobbles. What do you think causes these Colliwobbles? Do you think it is the soft upbringing the players have at the club? Do you think it is just poor coaching and we fold under pressure and get outcoached by the opposing teams coach?

  1. So many fools in this world its got me stuffed!    Collingwood never drop to their knees and wait for No1 draft picks, they recruit and remain competitive, like this year adding 9 new players  with 3 second year players and missing the grand final by 5 points.   Thats not Colliwobbles, just superb management!

Brisbane won flags laced with No 1 draft picks, Carlton and Richmond have been lying around on the bottom trying to emulate them , taking the cream no 1 picks .     You can see it now, when and if those clubs ever come good and beat in Collingwood in a grand final, they will gloat, and claim Colliwobbles while the Pies  have at least remained competitive , and provided value for money each week, for the supporters, as they always have .

  2. Collingwood players who eat jelly

  3. never heard of it

  4. unprepared n nervous

  5. I think you are not a Collingwood supporter but someone in disguise...

  6. Nah, its just the players who wobble. Their legs go all wobbly due to the amount of grog they guzzle.

  7. the word colliwobbles is in some supporters heads the pies have a lot of trouble winning against the likes of whoever teams are on the bottom end of the ladder especially carlton richmond and others it means something to teams if they can beat the pies it seems to give them the lift they need to achieve the win, bring collingwood down to their level

  8. I think you've got a d**n good team on your hands and a friggin superstar in Dale Thomas. Keep the faith mate, you could well win the Flag next year.

One thing the Pies are doing really well is injury management, they have had a good list all through the last few seasons, hence their success.
