Do you know about the supposedly accident that happened in Samsung Electro-MEchanics Philippines in Laguna?

It was rumored that in November-December 2007, there was an accident that happened in Samsung Electro-Mechanics Philippines Corporation Plant in Calamba Premiere International Park in Calamba City, Laguna, Philippines, particularly in the MLCC production department. It was said that there is something there that exploded that resulted in the death of 3 workers. Is it true? It is said that Samsung made a news black out..is it also true?

You're probably referring to the explosion at a Korean shipbuilding company. It happened at their shipyard in Subic but there was no cover up. It was all in the news and the government and company safety officials did some investigation. It appears that one of the the components being fabricated fell along with one of the workers hoisting it and two workers at the bottom also got hit. I don't know the exact number but apparently there were fatalities at the hospital were they were being treated.
