  1. i write reaaaaaaalllyyyy fast now through practice, I never memorized the keyboard letters in school as they used to do (cover our fingers and the keyboard with a paper so that we don't peak a look at the letters) but i kept on looking for a long time till i was able 2 do it without looking ... it just happened u know, it was not intentional

  2. i know them in english, still look up few letter in arabic..

there was this typing program they gave us at school, and it calculated how many words you can type and how fast you are and so. i cna't remember the program's name though. how many words? never counted them.. i can't remember how much i scored at teh program either.. but i'd say 40 maybe.. not sure..

  3. well i bought sponge bob typing lol and now i can type 96 WPM so you can try that is was really fun to :D

  4. I can type about 70 wpm. I learned years ago while taking Business Admin. It's not so hard to learn but it is boring. ASDF over and over and over , JKL: over and over, I used to think I would never get my pinky finger to co-operate. But it all came together. Cheers!

  5. I began typing when I was 9 years old, 20 years ago.  My mother bought me a TypeRite red keyboarding electronic toy and said it would be one thing she would encourage me to do.  It was also the same year my mom started college.  I began with the simple homerow keys and by 5th grade I was up to 35 wpm.  My teacher in 7th grade made me type 45 wpm to get an A because I had an advantage over the rest of the class.  I ended up beating that wpm.

I can type about 65 wpm but that is with the slow down of using the characters on the top row with the numbers.  My fingers are short, and on some keyboards it's hard to reach them.  I also am now on a laptop, and have to adjust my tying due to some of my keys are in differnet locations.

It does take a combination of memorization and practice and you'll get there.  Depends on your effort.  15 to 30 minutes a day is a good way to start and force yourself not to look at the keys, but what you are typing.  Pay attention to the errors and work on those letters more.

There's all kinds of online typing tutorials and tests.

  6. just memorize them naturally, by lots of typing & not being able to take my eyes off the screen at the same time, usually chats

  8. no i didnt memorize them and idk how fast i type but i type without looking at the keyboard i never took classes or anythign lmao it came with practice + tons of english essays to type

  9. practise make perfect ..

iam very fast on familiar keyboards (like my own) .. but not on others ...

i type with both hands without looking @ the keyboard .. it just comes to you with experience .. you dont' have to memorize the exact letter but its location
