my mom is a legal immigrant from nigeria but my question is when an illegal immigrant has a child in this country why are considered a citizen I'm lost that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard and its not that hard to get a green card and come legally have a child and there perfectly legal my mom tell yours to do it to

Because that was written in the constitution. How long ago did your mom come here? Was it recently because now that so many people want to come here from Mexico and South American the wait period could be about 10 years. Maybe it was different at the time when your mom came here legally.

Do you think it's easier to come here from Africa? I think it is because I work with a bunch of guys from different countries in Africa and they are all here legally. I never asked them how they got here but I think it's easier for them than for people in Mexico.

The reason people don't attempt to get a green card and come here legally is because legal immigrants have to obey the law and have to pay taxes and can't s***w the system. Illegal immigrants come here not for a better life but for the free things they get. You will find 99% of your illegals here in the US are on welfare (which is why they have anchor babies), and will take advantage of the things like using hospitals with no intent to pay the bill. notice I did not say ALL, I said MOST.  The law on anchor babies needs to be changed. If an illegal comes here and has 5 kids.it takes an average of $10,000 per normal birth..that's $50,000 per illegal just for birth.. you add that to each childs free education, free food, free healthcare. I know kids in the US that can't even afford a $10.00 bottle of penicillin for an infection and they get FREE everything.. It sucks. Thank your mother for doing if legally. We as citizens appreciate it a LOT
