  1. It was a terrible thing that happened. But reading the story and watching the interviews I cannot help but think that there was more to her suicide than just the myspace thing. I believe that just was the breaking point. Something in that child's life was missing. I mean think about it, 13 years old and she kills herself over someone she never met. OK she thought she was in love (clue, did she really know what love was, doubt it at 13) , Those parents look and and sound unapproachable! Dont you believe that if they paid a little closer attention to their daughter and showed her real love (verses the material love that has infected so many) that she might have handled it better. Or at least not been starving for it so bad that she killed herself over a myspace image. If they had paid a little closer emotional attention that they may have had a clue or something. No doubt they are hurting terribly. Yet I still believe that it is partially their fault for not seeing  the emotional signs, or at least making their relationship with their daughter one of openness and support (dunno know if it was or not I doubt it was). Just think about it, Lalala happy and perfect today and hanging in the closet by a belt the next.(there had to be signs) I try to make my kids know that no matter what the problem is there is an open door out of it & nothing is worth hurting yourself over. So many children today are left to themselves far to much. Look at the way girls dress in there p*****n days now & the moms and dads are the ones buying the clothes. I am all for s*x and Love and they are great when a person is emotionally ready and that depends on the person sure. But as a society I think we are allowing children to play out far to many sexual Ideas far too early. I don't know these people and cannot say anything for sure. I pray that others have learned from this and that it never happens again!

    Just a dads thoughts.
