Do you know any Space Music (Sounds)?

Question

Hard to describe. I don't know why but I love music you here in the background of Sci-fi movies and stuff. It's really relaxing to me (makes you feel like your just floating through space ya know). Was wondering if there is any artist or Cd's with this kind of stuff. Thanks.

Try getting the scores to old sci-fi movies.  I like the music for Ed Wood by Howard Shore.  or the music for Blade Runner.

as far as pop music, try Gary Numan, The Pleasure Principle.  that's a really futuristic record from the late 70s.  there's also Flying Lotus, which is a dj using all kinds of spacey sounds.

there's a lot of really out there stuff to listen to if you just keep looking.

find a cool music magazine and read it religiously.  your choice really.  and any band you like, find out what they like.
