what I mean is I'm looking for theorists who talks about autism. what's their theory on autism? I've found one so far and I need another. I've temple Grandin... thank you. this is urgent...

Ole Ivar Lovaas was one of the earlier psychologists to theorize that verbal behavior could be taught by using applied behavior analysis. He worked at UCLA.

Leo Kanner 1943 was one of the first people who discovered autism.

Hans Asperger discovered Asperger's Syndrome.

Leon Eisenberg who continued the work of Kanner.

Benson Schaeffer, James Q. Simmons worked with Lovaas

Bernard Rimland, Ph.D., was an internationally recognized authority on autism and the father of an autistic son. Dr. Rimland wrote the prize-winning book Infantile Autism, and was the founder of the Autism Society of America. He served as chief technical adviser on the film Rain Man.

Yale researcher Ami Klin, Ph.D.

Joseph Piven, M.D. is a professor of psychiatry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he is also director of the Neurodevelopmental Disorders Research Center.

Catherine Lord, Ph.D., professor of psychology at the University of Michigan and director of the Autism and Communication Disorder Clinic, is best known for her work in longitudinal studies of children and adults with autism and the development of diagnostic measures used in both practice and research.

If you go to the UCLA Autism website, you will find the name of quite a few autism researchers.

If you put "history of autism research" in your search engine, you will find tons.

I have a brother that is autistic, Mother said  

"he was God's gift to help us to learn to love one another".

I was told his brain works on both sides at the same time.  He is cross wired, he understand so much but has a hard time explaining to you.  So he shows his lack of expression ability in music and drawings.
