  1. omg is this dish amazing or what

    cooked some onions and mushrooms by just frying them you can add chicken or bacon but not essential

    throw in a tin of tomatoes and some creme freche and make sure they heat throw and serve with pasta

    tastes as good as anything and probally the best thing i cook for my family

    you could serve it with some vegetables aswell if ya wnt but again its not essential

  2. Melt a k**b of butter with a splash of milk in a saucepan, then add a large wedge of gorganzola or dolcelatte cheese and two heaped tablespoons of parmesan cheese. Stir in some crushed garlic and a teaspoon of Oregano. Cook some pasta in a seperate pan. When the pasta is ready pour 4 fl ozs of cream into the cheese sauce, stir and add to the cooked pasta.  I call it 'Cheats Carbonara'.

  3. pasta i made it once so you definately can and wouldnt hurt to throw a side in with it

  4. That's nice! here are a few suggestions, I cream an avocado adding some mayo and seasoning, and a squeeze (small one) of lemon..I toast a very large good quality bread in toaster like a 12 grain and I put the mix on the toast and put bean sprouts on top and make a sandwich and on the side I have spring  lettuce mix that I top with my own dressing

    or, how about pasta and tofu meatballs with sauce? That's easy..If you do that you can all eat it!

  6. This DELICIOUS and very easy to make;

    Fettuccini Carbonara

    5 teaspoons olive oil

    4 shallots, diced

    1 large onion, cut into thin strips

    1 pound bacon, cut into strips

    1 clove garlic, chopped

    1 (16 ounce) package fettuccini pasta

    3 egg yolks

    1/2 cup heavy cream

    3/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

    salt and pepper to taste

    Heat olive oil in a large heavy saucepan over medium heat. Saute shallots until softened. Stir in onion and bacon, and cook until bacon is evenly browned. Stir in garlic when bacon is about half done. Remove from heat.

    Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain pasta, then return it to the pot.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together egg yolks, cream, and shredded Parmesan. Pour the bacon mixture over the pasta, then stir in the cream mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

    Serves 6.

  7. For you mom steam broccoli, peas,carrots,potatoes and cauliflower. After cooking add some cream on top of the veggies. For you guys you can eat the veggies with steak( marinade the steak with fruit chantey and oven bake) enjoy!

  8. Bread Fritters;

    Go to the bakery section of the store where you normally buy bread.

    Ask the baker for an "unbaked" loaf of bread.

    He must put exactly the same amount of dough he would have used to bake a bread with in to a plastic bag for you, and it would cost no more than a loaf of bread.

    Take that home and in a pot warm some cooking oil to about half the depth of the pot. (Smaller pots take less oil than bigger ones do)...

    The oil temperature should be medium hot. (About half the heat that the stove plate will go)

    Now cut from the unbaked dough a slice about the size of your palm, and with a little water on your fingers (to prevent the dough from sticking to your hand), stretch out the dough in all directions until it is about the size of your whole hand including the fingers. That brings the cutting of dough to about twice the size it was when you cut it....

    Now with care, drop the stretched out dough in to the hot oil.

    It would rise almost instantly.

    Fry it in the oil until it is golden brown all over, taking care to turn it over occasionally.

    It would be puffy and crisp when done.

    With a large ladle or sieve, scoop out the bread fritter and place on an absorbent kitchen towel to rid it of most of the oil still on it.

    Repeat this process until all the dough is done.

    These bread fritters are extremely filling, and can be cut open and filled with almost anything from grated cheese to minced meat to cold processed meat, syrup or jam.

    Try it, you will probably have some left over for two or three days, which you can take to work if you like....

    Bread fritters can be frozen and warmed up again if you have made too much, but the dough cannot, so rather make the whole lot and freeze what is left over for another day. If you decide to freeze them, do so without a filling. Fillings should always be made fresh.

    Finger snack variety;

    By making the bread dough cutting about half the size when cutting off the raw dough from the batch, you can make smaller sized bread fritters and fill them with fancy foods like tuna mince or savory beef mince for buffet snack parties

  9. a macaroni salad will do. It might sound like a side dish but me myself sometimes have it for dinner and I feel great. That's one suggestion for your mom. For you and your brother, I'd love to suggest mac and cheese, that's one of my all time favorite meals, primarily because it's so easy to prepare. Good luck and have a great dinner! ^_^.

  10. Fahjitas are the easiest tasty food made in like 10mins. Better still use a extra pan with veggies a couple of mins after you start the chicken and you can all eat at the same time.  I do this with my friends so that they dont feel outcassed by the carnivours by having 2 wait for a seperate veggie meal
