  1. FAFSA

  2. Scholarships are hard to get, but you can research available ones through schools you are applying to and also through any organizations you may belong to. But if you need money to help pay tuition, federal loans are the way to go.  File an FAFSA to apply for federal aid and Pell grants.

  3. You can read about scholarships here:

    http://www.studentfinancedomain.com/fina...

And here are some good sites that offer scholarships:

    http://www.findtuition.com/scholarships/

    http://www.nextstudent.com/scholarship_s...

    http://www.brokescholar.com/

    http://apps.collegeboard.com/cbsearch_ss...

    http://www.educationplanner.com/educatio...

    http://www.studentawards.com/

    http://www.college-scholarships.com/

    Good luck!

  4. You're a little early for scholarships....but, better early than late!  Try the web sites of the school you plan to attend.  They often list scholarships just for students at that school.  You can also try the state aid web site of the state you reside in, or the state you are going to live in when you attend college.  Oregon, for example, has a state agency that administers a boat load of scholarships for colleges in Oregon.  Students only have to fill out one application to apply for multiple scholarships in that state.  Hopefully, other states have things like that, too.

    Good luck!

  5. scholarships.com

do a search for financial aid  on a search engine.

your school counselor can also help you out here.
