Do you know any good books?

Hello,

I was wondering if there were any good, fiction books, taking place in the Pacific Rim (surrounding Pacific Ocean) besides the United States, for a middle school student?

Well, the Mediator Series by Meg Cabot are good books for teens. I enjoyed them and read them in middle school (and they take place in California!!)

And just because I love it I'm going to mention Island of the Blue Dolphins, by Scott O'Dell, even though it is set on an island off the California coast, and you're probably already familiar with it. It's such a great book!
