bio oil is very good for scars or stretch marks but i find Olay regenrist is just as good and half the price as it contains pentepeptides which is what you find in bio oil and its a fraction of the price.

Zinc ointment should take care of mild discolouration, and Vitamin E oil will reduce the scar tissue...I don't think the scar will completely disappear, but it should soften in appearance.

Well that could be quite a few try using pure vitamin e oil, i use to buy the vitamin e capsule and burst it and use the oil on my skin like every night. you could also try  cocoa butter or bio oil.

I used concealer and then it faded eventually and then i put sunscreen on it everyday.  You can get something at CVS that works just fine.

i would recommend bio oil, or honey. You could use it as a mask, and it gradually reduces the appearance of scars. You could also use a chemical peel that eliminates acne scars.

Wheat germ oil did it for me when I had a dog bite on my face, I got a small bottle of it from boots and massaged it in every night for about 2/3 months did the job a treat. I was very surprised to not have any permanent scarring. I think the oil was helpful but most important was the daily massaging because it keeps the scar from developing or something along that lines.

The only thing is that it is VERY thick & oily so try not to let it settle round the outside of the bottom of your nose because it will probably cause blackheads. Always use it at night and thoroughly clean your face with oily skin facial cleaner in the morning.

Bio Oil is brilliant and it really works!!! I had an operation before and the scar was really deep and i kept using Bio Oil and now you can barely see the scar. Hope I helped!!!

There's no way to get rid of scars 100% but putting sun-screen on them will make sure they don't get darker. Some creams and especially scar sheets will get rid of them, but it takes like 8-weeks.

I have no patients for something like that :P. I just use a little bit of make-up and try not to be self conscious about it.

bio oil improves the appearance of scars

i also use bareminerals foundation to cover up my scars and its really good although its expensive
