  1. Hi. This question is posted in the wrong country category. But here goes:

I know there's a few dojos or martial arts training centers in Pasig. I don't really know about the other arts, but there's one that I attended before, the AikiKai Center of the Philippines (ACP) in Valle Verde Country Club (beside Ultra/near DepEd, along Capt. Henry Javier St.--FXes from Galleria and jeepneys on the Taytay/Cainta/Binangonan-Crossing route pass by this area). They're affiliated with the HQ/Hombu in Japan. You can find their contact info here: http://aikicenterph.org/main/welcome.htm...

While you're in the area, try asking around ULTRA if there's really a martial arts dojo there (I haven't had the chance to check it out myself).

If you're into the "Ki" style of Aikido, you can check out Ernesto Talag Sensei's classes in Megamall at AAK Fitness Center 5th F/Bldg. A (which is, btw, mainly a Karate training center). He also holds classes in the Brgy. Hall of Ugong (3rd Flr. Purok I).

Google/Yahoo! search will also lead you to more results. I did a search once and some people did reply to my inquiries, including one group that practices with real katanas!

Good luck & hope you find a good dojo! :)

  2. Your best bet would be to either use the local yellow pages, the online yellow pages, or do a google search. The odds of somebody in your area, who actually has a clue about martial arts, seeing your question are very small.
