There are many places that will hire a 16 year old over the summer months. Publix, local Ice cream shops, Restaurants (bus boys or hosts), you can even try fast food places (Burger King, McDonald's). Some times apartment complex places will hire young individuals to do office work or manual labor. Depends on what your looking for. Pick up a newspaper and call around. You can try doing a good search for summer jobs, just those two words indicate that your young and looking for temp work. You can ask you parents if there employers are looking for help in their office. There are a lot of opportunities you just have to make them for yourself.
