  1. do something on optical illusions.......you could study how your eyes react to things or somethin..... hope this helps

  2. You can get a couple of wires and a lemon and show that you can complete a circuit using the lemon. or my personal favourite is making a volcano (baking soda + vinegar)

  3. Call your local hospital.  Some times they will give you petri dishes.  You can check surfaces at home to see which ones have the most bacteria.  (Toilet, sink, door k**b, telephone etc.)  You will need a few days for this project.

  4. When I was in 6th grade(which was 4 years ago), I did a project on how submarines sink and float. I guess it was good or the people like it or something cause I got 3rd place at school and I went to district and got 3rd there too. Hope it helps.

  5. Google science fair projects, that's what my little sister did and she ended up doing one on different types of wood sealants to find out which one was better.

    Hope this helps...

  6. ok.  the best science fair project I have heard of is taking common, organic, household items and seeing which one repels pests.  For example, put some food on the sidewalk or driveway outside and put a ring of the stuff you want to test (like cinnamon) and food w/o a ring (to compare to the other one).  Check it everyday and see if ants (or whatever) eats the food.  If they are eating the food w/o the ring, but not the food with the cinnamon, SUCCESS!

something to this effect would be interesting, and there is so much you can do with it and so many products you can try.  Good luck with the science fair!
