Do you know any special tricks for removing bump k**b on Troy Bilt TB70SS trimmer?

I am following the instructions on page 12 figure 15 of the operator's manual, but I can't get the k**b to budge. Yes, I am going counterclockwise. I have shot Liquid Wrench into it.
