My friend's dad holds dual citizenship and competed on the Greek baseball team.

Yes- I have met at least one person who went to the Games. He's a member of the equestrian team from the USA, and his name is Denny Emerson. I met Denny when I lived down in NC, where he has his winter training base, and took some lessons from him. I ALSO came very close to meeting another Olympian that spring, namely, show jumper turned racehorse trainer Michael Matz. In addition to these two people, I have also met and gotten to know the World Endurance Riding Champion, Becky Hart, and her associate, Heather Reynolds. I lived for a time in California, and the house I lived in was located a short distance from Hart's barn.

I've enjoyed getting to know these stars of the equestrian world- they are good people to know, and great to learn from.

I don't but my husband does... he knows Matt Emmons from the shooting team... Apparently Matt lived with his grandfather for a while and he had taught Matt how to shoot better while Matt was tryinging for the qualifications.

Yes: Naazmi Johnston is competing this year in rhythmic gymnastics as the sole australian representative for the sport- i feel honored to have been on the same plane with her and train in the same building for state team training, she is a beautiful gymnast and has a wonderful personality.

Yes.  11 members of the 1980 USA Hockey team were University of Minnesota hockey players and one of them - Steve Christoff - was on a rival high school team that we played twice a year.  I had the pleasure of putting him into the boards a couple of times.

Yeh a Guy I used to work with as a life Guard was in the Aussie Olympic team as in the heptathlon, my sister just missed Australian selection in Sydney & Athens and trained under Aussie Head Swim Coad Alan Thompson for years.

My health teacher was. She told me and I seen her jacket and she won a gold and silver medal

yes i live in a small town and there was this amazing girl i think she was in track and field and she made it.
