Do you know anyone else whos has taken nearly as long as this woman to pass their driving test?

yeh, they passed, took a while but they did it

There was a lady a few years ago by the name of Maureen. She had loads of tries at the test,she kept failing. Then a t.v company took her in hand and made a documentary on her, she did eventually pass the test ! As for letting anyone drive me, yes, it all gets better with experience !

No lol. Bless her.... What a shame it's took so long, as with the petrol crisis, I hope she has plenty of dosh to enjoy! ;) Oh and no I think I'd decline a lift......:)

Have a license, so yes.  Many people have a hard time with test taking.

i know someone who has given up now but failed 14 tests and was 18 when she started to learn to drive and shes now 43 lol

Crikey, I thought I was bad!!

I passed 2 months ago, at the tender age of 52, after over a year of lessons. I worked out I have spent over £2,000, plus in all, what with 2 lessons a week at £18-00 a lesson, and then the cost of the theory, and practical tests. (I passed first time thank goodness.) Think of all that freedom, AND extra money I have to spend each week now?

I hate to think how much she has spent over the years.
