well i get losts of bruises on my knees from bashing them on the side of the pool when geeting out lol =]

One of my mom's old good friends was in the pool with a friend at age 16, jumping in. She jumped in first, and then her friend accidentally jumped on top of her and ended up pushing her onto the bottom head first with great force, and it snapped her neck. She's now paralyzed from the neck down. Really a shame. =(

I know 2, both jumped into the family pool, like they have a hundred times or more. One broke his arm, some how hit the bottom of the pool with his arm. The second was a pt I took care of 18 yrs old, same story except he broke his neck and is now paralyzed from the neck down, very sad. So it does happen. Drownings are the more common pool accidents.

Yeah me. When I was 9 I was sitting on a raft and my friend jumped on it and while she jumped feet first her foot slipped and she got me right in the crotch. I had a purple bruised v****a and couldn't walk right for 2 weeks. Never again to this day will I sit on a raft it was an embarassing painful experience and it makes me cringe just writing this. It hurt!
