Do you know anyone who is an adult who does not have a checking account?

My sister in law does not have a bank account, nor does she have a credit card. Her and her husband got in some credit problems and now they will not give her an account. She wrote to many bad checks and did not pay her bills.

Is this common? How about you?

There are many people who don't have accounts.  Alot of people don't trust banks. it's not uncommon.

No- not that common. Yes- I do have a checking account. There was a hobo on the street last night, I don't believe he had one, but I could be prejudice.
