4.12 Notarial Functions



4.12.1 To obtain the service of the Commissioner of Oath for the process of certifying and legalisation of documents, visit the nearest Malaysian Mission office. Address, telephone number and e-mail is available in this website under the topic Malaysia's Missions Worldwide.  

4.12.2 Among the documents requited for the process are :

  - Identification Card  

  - 2 passport size photographs  

  - Documents issued by Government agencies to be certified

  - Declaration  

4.12.3 Service charge is RM20.00  

Authentication

-Original document must be notarized by any Commissioner for Oaths in Malaysia and duly signed by the  

Officer in the  Consular Division of Wisma Putra (Foreign Ministry)

-Documents from the Philippines must be authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs

-Fee of RM 106.25 per document
